I was checking the wow forums earlier today. I sometimes go to the off-topic forum because the discussions are actually pretty good half the time.
A guy started a thread with something like "What's people's deal with always trying to be the first to post after a thread starts?"
I decided that it would be funny to kind of tick the guy off and post, "FIRST!" and be the the first to post.
Little did I know that as I was typing in 'FIRST!' that a moderator actually replied first with something along the lines of "If you post 'FIRST' you will be hit with the banstick."
I ended up being banned from the forums for a day for spamming.
All in all I find it pretty funny personally, but again it is dumb because it is in the off-topic forum.
Thought I would share that with you - hopefully it will make someone laugh.
