Now I've been reading alot of these threads. And the main build I see getting tossed around is 0/30/21. And the suggested 24/0/27 build that I saw in another thread. Now the build I'm rolling with so far is this one 5/12/34.

Balance Talents - 5 points
Nature's Grasp - rank 1/1
Improved Nature's Grasp - rank 4/4

Feral Combat Talents - 12 points
Ferocity - rank 5/5
Brutal Impact - rank 2/2
Thick Hide - rank 3/5
Feline Swiftness - rank 2/2

Restoration Talents - 34 points
Improved Mark of the Wild - rank 5/5
Furor - rank 5/5
Improved Healing Touch - rank 5/5
Nature's Focus - rank 5/5
Insect Swarm - rank 1/1
Tranquil Spirit - rank 5/5
Nature's Swiftness - rank 1/1
Gift of Nature - rank 5/5
Improved Tranquility - rank 1/2
Innervate - rank 1/1

I haven't head anything about this one. Now my question is this. Is the build I'm going with decent? Or am I headed the wrong way? I am currently lvl 29. The reason I thought about going with this build is cause my guild runs MC on Fri and Sat night. I know I have a long ways to go till I can join them, but is this build something I should stick with? Or go another route?

Here are a couple observations on my part:

-You need feral charge and you don't need improved tranquility.

-Do you really need all 5 points in nature's grasp? Getting hit every couple seconds I have found that 3, 2, or even 1 point will still grasp them. You could take a few points out and put them into improved regrowth maybe. This would help more with instances than roots will.

This is what you might see referred to as going "full resto", it is a very good build, and you will be a good healer.

The reason people shy away from going full resto is to give themselves more non-healing options when they solo. You won't have the kind of damage available that a feral or balance druid would, but you will be more sought after by groups and raids, so it is really a playstyle choice.

I thought about it that way. My only question is, will I lose Innervate by droping improved tranquility for feral charge? I'll have to mess with that with that talent calculator.

Reading that makes me feel better about the build I went with. :) I'll rarely be soloing. I have a few friends who I always group with. So I'm not to worried about it. Not saying that I won't ever solo. Cause I'd be lying if I did say that. lol

You can drop improved tranquility and still keep innervate.

You need 30 total points spent in the restoration tree to be allowed to pick innervate. All in all it's a total of 31. If you drop one you will still have 33.

That's awesome. I'll have to revise my build. Thanks for the info. :)

8/11/32

Reasons for:

Natural shapeshifter owns in 1v1 PvP. Saves a lot of mana.
Feral charge = wtfpwned (esp. hunters)
Very powerful healer.

I mostly raid, so I don't recommend this build for grinding at all. Feral is definitely the way to go. I didn't switch to resto until 53. In world PvP its pretty sweet. As a druid, i don't stay in one form too long. I'm constantly switching in and out, moonfire, rooting, faerie fire, heals. bear form, frenzied regen, travel form.

But, it all comes down to your playstyle and what you want out of your WoW experience. Try different specs out and go w/ what you like.
