Was wondering if anyone knows what this entails. Where to get it, and what the rewards are

Changed the title from "drood" to "druid." -Yrys

I know of no class named drood, nor rouge for that matter.

The new druid quest reportedly starts in Un'goro crater, with a pretty nice blue staff with mana regen, and something else for reward.

There's a post under quests I believe, but it's linked to the WoW site, which is down. There's not a full walkthrough here that I have seen yet.

I'm at work at the moment, but my friend gave me a call . . . and he was frantic that he couldn't get on. So, at least Dragonblight is down, probably more as well.

Ha! But yes, i would like to know what the prize for the Druid Quest in Un'Goro is becuase i just spent big Mula on "SoulKeeper" (staff), with an Unholy Enchant and i would hate to have bought that and enchanted it if i was just gonna get something better. It wouldn't surprise me though, that's how it usually goes.

And why can't they just give us some really nice armor for a change? I mean, we haven't had a quest pecificly for Druids since Sea Lion Form (i think) and there's not a whole bunch of armor that is pecificly for Druids, except Epics and what not.

Thoughts? :wiggle:

The rewards include a staff, healing chest, and feral chest. Yrys posted the three rewards here somewhere. I think that I am going to have to pick up the chest piece, as I am using Mili's Lexicon and Lorespinner, which has better stats (quest reward has no stats =/) and mana regen than the staff, though is missing the 1% crit and +18 to spells and damage. More of a balance druid staff. And I really dont care if my heals crit. If they do great, I'm probably going to overheal. If they dont, I'm in the same boat as I started in.

What did you put an unholy on SK for? I'd enchant that with spirit for out of combat regen. I have it on my priest, and while I'm wanding away I get about 75 mana per tick. I bet unholy looks awesome on SK tho.

Druids are not droods. Please do not call us that.

THeres tons of Druid armor in Dire Maul for resto druids only. I guess pallys and shammys can use them too. Unfortunatley there is not much pure feral druid armor taht rogues wont roll on.

I had actually just been reading that link, since I was trying to decide if I wanted any of those pieces for my healing gear when I saw this. I think there are going to be a number of "New Druid Quest" topics in the next few weeks.

Yea, well i'm only 53 ATM so i still have lots of greens on my poor Druid, but the few blues/sets i do have Include my Chest piece and Staff. I'm resto so the staff and the Healing Chestpiece would help me But the current things i have Are the IronFeather set and SK(Which as stated above is fairly new) I would hate to just vendor it but that looks to be what i am going to do.
So ANYWAYS, back to the question i was going to ask:
Should a lvl 53 Resto Druid take the Staff or the Chestpiece?

I would take the chest, the bonus is much better than Iron feather, especially once you get some healing shoulders.

Thee,

Definitley take the chest piece. No questions asked. I have the Ironfeather set, and the bonus is good for someone in their low 50's, but thats about it. +20 to all damage and healing?

The chest piece gives +55 to healing. For a resto druid, this chest piece almost triples the bonus of the set of Ironfeather. Ironfeather does have superior stats, but I'm going to take the chest. At least until I get my cenarion pretty soon.
