n00b question: when I'm on the server, and I want to join a group, I type /4 and then my message, but I'm told that I don't have permission to speak. What do I do?

type /c 3 or 4 can't remember which to talk in the looking for group channel you have to put the /c 3 or 4 before anything you say to talk in that channel hope this helps. I believe that is what you are asking.

I tried it out, but I think it doesn't work because I have a guest account.

Ah, yeah. Only the Collector's Edition guest accounts are unrestricted... the normal guest accounts have some limitations.

This is a great forum. You can ask questions and admit your frustartions without worrying about being personally attacked or getting completely trashed on.

Honestly, even if you don't always play a druid, this is the best forum to ask any of your questions on (much better than the official forums).

My next question:

I am currently using the 10-day guest trial, but I bought a copy of WoW and would like to use its free month key.

1) How do I do this? Because they already took my credit card number when I installed the game.

2) Even with the free month, will I still get capped at level 20 like a guest trial account? And still be unable to participate in general chat and trades?

Just enter in the account key you get with the full version (don't make a new account).

The month free with the full game has no restrictions AFAIK.

Activated my free one-month, and it seems that all features are available to me. :sumo:
