I clicked on that thottbot link, and the map is too zoomed in. Is this on Kalimdor, or Eastern Kingdoms?

Booty Bay is on the Eastern Kingdoms.

To get to Booty Bay from:
Ratchet, Barrens: Take the boat from the docks, probably the fastest way there.
Orgrimmar, Durotar: Take the zeppy to Grom'Gol Base Camp and make your way to Booty Bay (Southern tip of STV).
Undercity, Trisfal Glades: Take the zeppy to Grom'Gol Base Camp and make your way to Booty Bay (Southern tip of STV)

Not too sure from the Alliance Cities other than walking to there from Duskwood or something.

if your one of the alliance then yes, you will have to trek from dusk.

but keep in mind that all the mobs in that area are 40+ so be in your late 30's before venturing.

Also if your flagged, their is a elite pvp walkign the main path so be careful.

imp, STV is the best place to lvl from late 30s.

I have flight paths to Stormwind and Iron Forge. But I'm not at level 20 yet, sadly.

STV was one of my favorite places to level, tons of quests, lots of pvp and lots of places to fish when ya got bored. Oh and the arena too!

:) That is how I made some money for my mount by selling the first aid books that noone wanted to go to Arathi for :)

Moving to Trade Skills

Hey, it was worth getting my a$$ kicked all the way from Ashenvale to the Barrens, so I could catch the boat at Ratchet. :elfbiggri

Still shorter. Of course the Mobs in STV will aggro easier than the ones in Ashenvale/Barrens.

You can jump in the river between duskwood and westfall, shift to aquatic and swim south all the way to the sea! (just don't get too close to shore to aggro the crocs and you should be able to speed past all the hostile fish)

ok, I hit 225. How do I get training beyond that?

Hi guys, I saw that this was a new forum... Decided to check it out. Since I'm a little late to the party, let me add onto an early post.

"STV was best place to level up from late 30s"

I went there at level 30 after I quit WSG. You don't need to br 40+, just 30+ and your fine. Start out small, the gorillas in the begining (level 33-34) are a great way to train. Then I moved onto questing... It's awesome. Take my advice:

GOBLIN CITIES PWN!! I say this because Booty Bay gvies away great quests. I then went to Gadgetzan at level 40 and did the quests there. I am then going to Everlook at level 50, I guess. The goblin cities (in my eye) are good for 10 levels, starting with Ratchet at 20, Booty Bay at 30, Gadgetzan at 40, and Everlook at 50. Then go to Western Plaguelands and do some quests there.

I may be level 43, but my 55 Warlock friend, Arrawn, taught me all this. Take our advice and level with pride! And goblins...

Lum - to learn fishing to 300 involves a quest. I know there is a guy in the inn in Tanaris that will give it to you, and possible another in Booty Bay (not sure of him tho).

Quest involves catching 4 types of fish from various locations throughout the world.....
