Currently I am guilded with a Ragnaros capable guild on the Alliance side. I am pretty much stuck with a restore build for that reason, but also having 46pts in it is like healing in easy-mode, so I don't complain that much. My biggest concern is being able to solo farm/quest outside of a group. I've just recently started collecting gear outside of MC for feral. So far I've acquired;

Bone Ring Helm [head, lots of stamina]
Death's Cluth [shoulders, all stats]
Sergeant's Cape [back, lots of ac/sta]
Cadaverous Armor [chest, AP/str/agi]
Primal Batskin Bracers [wrist, agi/sta +1%hit]
Devilsaur Gloves & Legs [sta/AP +2%hit +2%crit]
Belt of Heads [waist, str/sta/agi +1%hit]
Bloodsoaked Boots [feet, sta/agi +1%hit]
Mark of Tyranny [trinket, ac +1%dodge]
Doomulus Prime [2hMace, str/sta +1%hit]

Upgrades I'm looking at are Eye of Rend, Stormshroud Shoulders, and Idol of Ferocity(duh). Can you all suggest a neck item (can't spend DKP on Ony Head tho), better tunic, or anything else like rings or trinkets I should be on the look out for. Instances like Strat, Scholo, BRS, AQ20, ZG are where I'd be looking for them since DKP doesn't extend outside of MC. I like saving every bit of my raid points for healing gear.

Ony head would've been my first suggestion. You can't spend dkp on that because...? Honestly, one of the best overall dps necks in game. My only regret in looting something in this game was taking the damn Ring from that quest reward. Maybe someday I'll try to petition that.

What else? Exalted ZG neck for druids sucks. On my hunter, I use it in combination with the epic shoulders (set bonus +20 atk power, and I like the Zand shoulders more than Giantstalker). A decent ZG option is Eye of Hakkar: http://www.thottbot.com/?i=51814

However, you give up about the best healing neck in the game since it's a 1-time quest. Well, best this side of C'thun (who's neck is just about Ossirian's with 11 sta on it lol).

Everything else I can think of offhand drops in AQ40 or MC, so not an option you said.

For more bear AC you might want the cloak of warding, but it is a kind of expensive item for something you won't be doing much of ( soloing that is ).

Ended up getting the Eye of Rend a couple nights ago on a 7-man run. The guild rogue with me had tier2 helm, so was obviously in no need. Been doing some AV this week and having hella fun when a compotent person is running it. Got Honored, picked up the Stormpike Soldier's neck item. I MAY end up spending DKP on Ony's Head, its that good of an item. For now, gonna run AV between MC/Ony runs. I wanna see what rank I can get before getting bored to tears.

The Cloak of Warding is killer for soloing when you inadvertantly get feared into 4 lv 60 aboms (as I did last night in EPL). If I'm running as cat, I'll wear the seargents cape for the stamina. Cloak of Warding is easy to make. About 1-2h of grinding and 25-30g. Mats:

Cloak of Warding: 214ac and +5defense
Bolt of Runecloth x12 (easy)
Runethread x2 (easy)
Arcanite Bar (25g)
Guardian Stone x4 - drops off the lv 61 elite stone guys in ungoro. Fun fights for a druid, and decent drop rate.

Two neck items that I can think of that aren't bad, and are pretty easy to get:

Imperial Jewel (+32ap, +7sta)
Evil Eye Pendant (+15agi +7def)

I'm sure that there is better AQ20 gear, and you already have the zg boots. The Animist set from ZG is awesome for the ac, if you want to be a nasty tank with lots of int and spirit.
