Hey guys.

I was just wondering.. Is there any really good gear for a lvl 30ish druid around? Thats worth a quest/instance what ever to do?

I just got my staff (dont remember the name) on the dude in BFD yesterday.. +10 int and +11 spirit I think it is.

but I was thinking about chest armor, boots, capes etc etc.
The one I know of is Green Whelp Armor - but ey.. Dont seem to be that easy to get a hold of...

Thanks in advance.

Looking at your sig you say 0/31/20 but your only 28 so I'm not sure what your current spec is. The reason I say this is that if your currently full feral that staff will not help you. You'd need to be looking for more str gear to get the AP up. A resto or balance might find the staff quite good, its all down to how you play.
I've asked this kind of question in the past myself and the normal reply is don't worry about gear too much. The idea being that you go through the levels to fast to keep the gear right up to date all the time.
Just follow the quest chains through and try to keep doing the instances. I've been told a nice feral mace drops in Gnomer so that is where my weekend trip is aimed at :)

Yeah, Manual Crowd Pummeler from Gnomer is a good 2H for feral work. Buy yourself some Toughened Leather Gloves and some Barbaric Bracers; go back to Blackfathom and Kill Lady Sarevess - she has a chance at Naga Battle Gloves and the Hydra at the end drops a good belt sometimes.
I hate Gnomeregan and try to go there as little as possbile (do the quests and move on to SM!!!!).

I recently re-rolled on a newer server to play with friends. While i wish i could get my hands on a few blues here and there, my real goal is to save my money for a Warden Staff and equip it the second I can.

So, i've given up hopes and dreams of wearing blues in each slot.

I have found green: "TIGER" gear to be fairly cheap from 18-35. I haven't paid more than 40s for any piece and I have Tiger already purchased for level 3x-40.

Amazingly enough, it has been working out really, really well. I have a 2H hammer from a quest reward that has +9 STR and still haven't found one yet that has more STR or AP yet.

My recommendation is to start an alt and run him to the closest city. Send him 1g-3g (if you have it) and do a search under leather for "TIGER". Always look for gear that is 2-8 levels over your head and look for bargains.

If you happen upon a blue item in an instance...cool...if not, the tiger gear really has made a difference in my leveling.

The GWA isn't as common in the Ah since the nerf, but if you ask around in trade channel someone can probably make you one (especially if you farm the scales).

You'll be heading to SM before you know it and there will be lots of nice drops and quest rewards. You should also do the chain in Darkshire to get the off-hand with the armor on it.

I am on board with Nightmoone here. Unless you plan on gearing up for a long stretch of honor grinding in the BG's, you outlevel your gear too fast to invest the time in gathering it all. I was a leatherworker and made my own stuff and filled the gaps with some AH purchases. But never a lot of money either. The goal was to get to 60. At 60, you'll have plenty of time to go gear hunting.....trust me. If your not a leatherworker then just hit the level appropriate instances and roll on the attack power/ac gear.

Thanks for the input guys, appreciate it..

I got my hand on the reciepe for the GWA yesterday - and my 29 hunter friend that I play with all the time can make this, so Ill prob get some Scales so he can craft me one.. Got the reciepe for 1.5G buyout - so it wasnt too bad.

Visited some time in the gnomeregen yesterday, wich I think is one of the worst instances I have done so far.. Not a lot of good loot there actually.. We got lots of swords and axes, wich I dont care about ;) And alot of bad armor pieces..

Can't wait to get a good team to visit a better instance.. Any ideas/experience on where there are some good armor drops?

I missed if you are horde or alliance, but there is a real nice set of pants (I believe they were blue) that was a quest reward for something in Gnomer. (sorry I can't remember more specifically) Triprunner Dungarees or something.

Quest started from one of the Gnomes in Tinkertown.
