I was watching a video of a feral druid that could heal himself while still targeting his enemy. As most of you know, if you ever click off the person you have combo points on, you lose them. Does anyone know how to be able to cast heals on yourself without ever un-targeting your enemy??

Well one thing could be benecast....but I have ManaSaver and if I click my macro created thru ManaSaver it heals be automatically without targeting me....but I can't heal party members and not change targets.

So if you are looking to only heal yourself....then you could try ManaSaver. I found it on curse-gaming.

You do not need any external mods to do this. Go through the keybindings. It'll be obvious.

Yeah you can hold down alt and press your hot key and it will cast what ever spell on you. Also I have CT raid assist and it has an option for self buff. Basically if you are not targeting a friendly than it will cast the spell on you whether that be a heal or a buff.

I like "rselfcast". It's a mod. You install it and whenever you right click a spell it casts it on you. No target change required. It's real small and works great. Look it up on curse-gaming. It says it's out of date or w/ever, but it still works fine.

I was always under the impression that even those mods, would auto target you, before casting the spell. I didnt realize that you didnt actually have to be the target to receive the heal. Doesnt make much sense because you have to target other people to heal them, so why wouldnt it be the same for healing yourself....

The alt thing mentioned by swear is the way to go, its not a mod but built in so maybe Bliz recognized the utility in it.

I tried that before.....and for some reason it wasn't working for me....and I found out about my mod doing it on accident....LOL.

Was it ever bugged? Or does my WoW just hate me....

I just set my self-cast key to my left control key with CTmod.
Works perfect for me.
