Hey guys! Well I want to tweak my 30/21 build right now....below are some I am thinking about....please help and give some advice/your experiences on these builds.

Keep in mind I want to be able to heal nicely and PvP. Also if the time calls I would like to take on either a DPS or Tank roll (something goes wrong in a raid and one goes down....or we find a better healer and need to have one of the other roles in the group). For those of you that can't go to wowhead at work....I'm am editing to list the talents used.

If you have had a good or bad experience with these specs or a certain talent....please let me know. I am looking to change it tonight.

[Note: These are some talents that I do not want to sacrifice...Feral Instinct (sneaking in PvP), Brutal Impact (I frequently use my stuns, so the longer they last the better), Feral Charge ('nough said), Nature's Focus (you get tired of HT's taking FOREVER if you are being attacked....this is a life saver).]

Ill take a look at your specs when I get out of work. But in my opinion, if you want a better hybrid build for PvE and PvP, I would go with something along the lines of 1/19/31.

You would have natures grasp which is really nice in PvP, you would have swiftmend and natures swiftness, great for PvP and PvE. I would also choose to get imp. regrowth and skip the one that increases the amount a heal does by 10% in the resto tree. As for feral, you would have quite a few good talents in there for when you switch to forms to be able to hold your own.

But thats just my opinion. I was looking at 30/21 as a hybrid build too but I think you lose a few really good healing spells that work awesome in PvP for keeping you AND your team alive, where as the few feral talents you would get for 30 points arent going to make a considerable change of how well you do in forms.....having imp regrowth and swiftmend will greatly improve your PvP healing where quick heals win.

Ok....I will look at the talents and try and post something with that type of build and see what you guys think....I just know that I would love to be a good all around druid.

How many have experience with the 1/19/31 build? Have any of you tanked or been DPS in a group with that build?

Is this along the lines of what you are suggesting?

http://www.wowhead.com/?talent=MzZxGzsMbZVE0oeoVo
Level 60 Druid (1/19/31)

Balance (1 point)
Nature's Grasp - Rank 1/1

Feral Combat (19 points)
Ferocity - Rank 5/5
Feral Instinct - Rank 3/5
Brutal Impact - Rank 2/2
Feline Swiftness - Rank 1/2
Feral Charge - Rank 1/1
Sharpened Claws - Rank 3/3
Predatory Strikes - Rank 2/3
Blood Frenzy - Rank 2/2

Restoration (31 points)
Furor - Rank 5/5
Improved Healing Touch - Rank 5/5
Nature's Focus - Rank 5/5
Insect Swarm - Rank 1/1
Tranquil Spirit - Rank 5/5
Improved Rejuvenation - Rank 3/3
Nature's Swiftness - Rank 1/1
Improved Regrowth - Rank 5/5
Swiftmend - Rank 1/1

I would think that the 10% to all heals would be better, especially if I am going to also be raiding. Why do you suggest the Imp Regrowth over this? I would think it would be best to improve all heals over improving the crit chance of one heal.

Very true. I am currently 0/15/36, and when I mix in my ac and resist healing gear am a really strong PvP healer. 2k Regrowth heal crits, regrowth ticks for 220, Rejuv ticking for 330, swiftmend for 1400. And 9000ac in Bear. For a while I went into the BG's with my feral gear on and shredded faces, though I'd get maybe 1 or 2 kills before being pounded on. Recently I've been healing, ff'ing rogues and cc'ing warriors and mages, and its amazing how much people will protect you, and how quickly the HK's / caps rack up.

Edit* I do wish I would have put just one point into NG though.

Yes that would be the basic form of the build. Where you choose to place the points in feral is your preference.

I wouldnt waste 5 points in the 10% increase to heals because it doesnt scale with +healing. It only calculates off the base heal and if your using something that heals for 300-500, that talent only makes it 330-550. Not a drastic change.

Getting the 50% crit change to regrowth however gives you a 1.5sec heal spell that can crit for a good 2k hps with typical hybrid gear on, and then leaves a hot on the target helping to mitigate dmg in PvP.

BALANCE
-------------
Natures Grasp 1/1

FERAL
------
Ferocity 5/5
Feral Agression 5/5
Feline Swiftness 1/2
Feral Charge 1/1
Sharpened Claws 3/3
Predatory Strikes 2/3
Blood Frenzy 2/2

RESTORATION
-------------
Improved MotW 3/5
Furor 5/5
Improved Healing Touch 5/5
Reflection 3/3
Tranquil Spirit 5/5
Improved Rejuvination 3/3
Natures Swiftness 1/1
Improved Regrowth 5/5
Swiftmend 1/1

Reflection is a must have for PvE healing imho....it works great too for PvP when you may heal once every 10 seconds, and the 5 second rule will drastically reduce the mana regen you could get..

I would rather put some points into Feral Instinct. I like to sneak around when I need to....and that way I'm not seen by others. I may try a 1/19/31 build....but I will probably have to do some tweaking to get it to work with my style.

That talent is a waste unless you seem to have issues being seen in PvP. PvE you can stealth past anything in 5-10 man instances, anything higher than that, you cant stealth past it anyway no matter what your stealth lvl is.

Well when I asked more about that talent quite a few people posted that you need to have some points in to not be seen....otherwise they can see you if you are within 30 yards.

Any one else's thoughts on Feral Instinct?

I PvP quite a bit on top of my busy raid schedule. I had this talent maybe once but I never have an issue sneaking up behind someone. If you walk in front of them, of course your going to be seen, or if their human and they pop their racial trait that improves stealth detection....or if they have cats eye goggles....or if they have detect invisibility on them, etc.

You only do 1 move in stealth before your out of it so why invest 3 or 5 points in a talent that is going to slightly improve something you wont be in 70% of combat, ya know?

I see what you are saying....but I kinda like the fact that last night I walked circles around a Level 60 Warrior (or it coulda been a Pally....can't remember) before I did anything.

I'll figure something out....thanks for the help.

Ahhh...must be nice

@ Lorath - Is there a build where you would recommend maxing the talent?

The only build I would ever put it in would be a feral build that is designed only around cat form.
