Basically, we all go Storm Crow, fly up into the sky, shift out, fall, shift into bear, feral charge, WREAK HAVOC, rinse and repeat and for clean up have people drink noggenfogger and get slow fall while spamming moonfire

well stormcrow is going to be instant cast, so you could just shift back into crow form while falling before you hit the ground.

you know, they should just make everyone able to attack each other while mounted, would fix alot of problems.

might have to limit certain abilities while mounted, but give general overall capabilities.

You would have gankers in PvP realms hovering just over the ground immune to everything waiting for the right moment to kill you. Doesn't sound like much fun.

Yea. I wish there was a trainable spell for ALL classes that lets you just do you're basic attack while mounted with your attack speed reduced (Ragnarok Online anyone).

Btw does anyone know if Storm Crow will have basic attack just like Travel Form right now? Because swooping down like a hawk and hitting them once and flying up before they can hit you again would be hella fun :)

Who's to say that you'll be able to maneuver vertically?

They might just allow you to mount, put you up to a specific altitude and allow you horizontal movement.

But the Death From Above strat does sound very very very cool.

Blizzard has decreed that Stormcrow can't be cast in combat, so the idea of attacking mid-air then returning to Stormcrow won't work unless you're high enough to not splat before you leave combat.

Flying will work much like swimming, at least for mounts. You will scroll up to take off, or you can just jump off a cliff or building and the mount will start flying. If you go forward without scrolling up the mount just runs like any other mount. I assume this will apply to Stormcrow as well. There's a video demo of flying mounts, but I'm at work and can't find it right now. Perhaps someone could link it.

There is a rumour flouting on the forums that when u transform in to crow that u will automatically be suspended in the air. ( Think current harpies and/or other flying mobs at the moment ). From here u can fly into the ground and turn back into druid form (waterform swimming onto land type of thing) or fly up and keep on flying.
