The WoW guide book says there is a talent in Balance called Natural Weapons. I cannot find it in any of my 3 trees. Does it exist? What happened to it?

It was combined with the Improved Healing Touch talent in the resto tree (reduce casting time of healing touch by 0.1 seconds 5/5 for 0.5 second reduction). So the old Natural Weapons is gone.

The new talent is in the second tier of the restoration tree and it's called "Naturalist". It does both of the old talents in one....2/4/6/8/10% increase to damage with melee weapons AND 0.1/0.2/0.3/0.4/0.5 second reduction in Healing Touch cast time.

This changed with the 2.0 patch recently when all the trees were changed to include the 41 point talents and rearrangements of everything. It was a HUGE boon to feral hybrids....whereas before you had to spend 11 points in balance and 5 in resto just to boost your feral skills....now you can spend just 11 points in resto....and it does more than just boost feral....it helps your hybrid healing abilities as well. HUGE HUGE boost =D.

I am lvl 22 and I am going Feral all the way (I tried Balance but soon realized we dont cast like Mages)
My question......what in Resto should I specifically put my 11 points in to boost my Feral Spec line?

5/5 Furor (free rage / energy)
5/5 Naturalist (faster heals, 10% more damage)
1/1 Omen of Clarity (chance on hit for the next spell or ability to cost no rage, energy or mana. great for free shred's, mauls, swipes, moonfires or heals)

In Resto the talents that appeal to feral are:
- Furor 5/5
- Naturalist 5/5
- Natural Shape shifter 3/3
- Omen of Clarity 1/1

At level 22 you aren't doing a lot of shifting, I'd actually do this
- 5/5 Furor ( Resto tree )
- 5/5 Ferocity ( Feral )
- 1/5 Naturalist

or you could not put the point in Naturalist and put it into Feral Instinct.

It depends if you are looking for a bear or cat build ( initially - as in the long run you'll want to max out both talents ). Cat you might want to fill out Naturalist for more dps, bear you might want Feral Instinct for more threat and holding aggro.

I recently rolled a fresh druid to play with some friends. As much as I hated doing it, I went 5 Ferocity, 2 Brutal Impact, 3 Thick Hide, 2 Fe(line/ral) Swiftness to start. The rank 2 feral talents are frankly pretty weak, and I'd have been stronger with a point in Nature's Grasp, and going with Furor/Naturalist/OoC instead, but getting the 30% run bonus by level 21 was so worth it.

I just can't take being slow.

I'm considering respeccing at 30 to something like 1/9/11 and then going feral from that point up until I hit 50, then respeccing for Mangle. That way I won't feel the effect of losing the running speed, and I'll still have the key abilities I want.
