asking for advice on where a horde 54 druid could go and kill mindlessly and just grind out some xp. i'd prefer a bunch of yellow mobs to make it that much easier. i have been grinding the turtles in the hinterlands (ez to get to, yellow, good skins and scales).

anyone have any ideas?

also, if you happen to know of some place to grind while getting reputation, that's a bonus.

I suggest the various farms in the Western Plaguelands (e.g. Felstone Field). Don't get rep but they drop cloth and pretty good money.

You do get Argent Dawn rep killing the mobs in Western plaguelands as well as scourgestones to turn in at the Bulwark if you are wearing your commision

If you go to Felwood and kill the furbolgs in the south and in the north you get reputation with Timbermaw Hold. They drop nice stuff as well.

Those in the north may be too strong for you but those in the south are perfect for your level range. Got from 53 to 55 there myself.

Plague lands.... plague lands and plague lands.... its a very good place for anyone in their mid 50s-60 to go.

Plague lands is the best (especially for mages) but the only thing that I hate is the darn diseases that almost every undead puts on you :(

i went back to the good ole' turtles. i'm lvl 54 and was killing fast and ez. according to titan bar, was getting over 25k xp per hour. the skins and scales sell well. about 5g/stack of turtle scales and got about 2 stacks in an hr. not so bad considering it was fast to get there, fast to start grinding, very little (if any) alliance ganking problems and i could always stop and fish if i got bored.

i'll do this till 55 and then head to the plaguelands.
