Hey, just leveled in Alchemy, and I can't for the life of me find Blackmouth Oil and Fire Oil outside of the AH - any suggestions?

They are made using Alchemy, fishing for the mats: Oily Blackmouth and Firefin Snapper.

*Nods* as stated above..

Fish in the 'Oily Blackmouth' & 'Firefin Snapper' pools around the coasts (Tanaris, STV, Hillsbrad etc for example) to pick up the ingredients..

Then alchemists use them to make the oils as part of their alchemist training.

We Alchemists rub the oils all over ourselves. Fire oil by day, blackmouth oil by night.

I do have something useful to say though.
Oily blackmouths require low level fishing skill to catch - you can be catching them within about 30 mins of starting fishing.
A great place to catch them is Menthil Harbor, in the Wetlands.

The Canals of Stormwind have fishing trainers and fishing reagents vendors, and also contain suitably lowbie fish to get you started with levelling.
