I've been running around with Staff of Beast for a while, and yesterday Braxxis Staff dropped while I was screwing around in firewing.

I know that overall, Staff of Beasts has great stats...but would it be worth using Braxxis for tanking, because of 2000 or so armour I'd get?

Yea it's what I'd consider an entry level tanking weapon. I'd recommend it.

Yep, Braxxis beats the staff of beasts for tanking. Beasts wins for dps though.
