Where do I find the gems to enhance my pretty new pants?

It's a nice healing item! I'd suggest +heal and +spirit in the sockets. There's a +13 healing red gem and a +6 spirit blue gem. As an alternate to the +6 sprit, maybe a purified jaggal pearl for +7 heal and +3 spirit?

I like this gem as well.

I'd stick with "green" quality gems (typically 2-4g each) until you are sure the particular item will be used for some time and/or never likely to be replaced. Given this was a Blood Furnace drop, I might even consider just using Vendor bought gems, as there is a real chance it will get replaced soon.

I agree that 'green' quality gems are best pre-70, but the cost of vendor gems is so close to the cost of 'green' crafted gems you might as well get the crafted ones, as they have better bonuses. Also, this item is unlikely to be replaced until 70. There aren't a lot of leather healing pants out there pre-Moonglade.

On my server ( much to my JCers dismay ) the green cut gems go for about 1g.

If you don't want to put more expensive gems in ( and I just realized where that came from ) go with the green cuts, they are better than the vendor ones and at least on Malfurion, about the same price.
