...or other mobs that don't bleed.

I (lvl 40) was completing a quest in which I had to kill lvl 38-40 elemental mobs. Since they don't bleed, some of my attack options are not usable. What is the best approach for tackling bleed'less mobs?

They don't bleed, but Blizzard just recently changed the mechanics of a bleed so if you toss one (outside of a finishing move) the damage is put all up front.

So just build those combo points and Bite your way to victory.

So, there is no reason for me not to use Pounce, Shred, Shred, Claw, Bite? Or if the mob is tougher Rip?

I have been just doing, Pounce, Claw, Claw, Claw, Claw, Bite. As I have assumed Rip, Shred and Rake would be useless since I don't see the DOT timer under the mob when I use them.

Shred won't work as it's a finishing move.

Pounce won't bleed or put any damage on but it still will stun (as long as they aren't immune to it) and add a combo point.

Pounce is good so long as they aren't immune to the stun. How can you say free combo points are bad? :)

Shred won't work as it's a finishing move.Rip is a finishing move. Shred is a "damage from behind" move.

Now that I think about it, does FFF affect elementals? I don't remember seeing its timer on the mobs either.

Some elementals are immune to fairie fire.

IIRC earth elementals ( and maybe air? ) are immune to FFF.

My bad, got em mixed up.

Thanks.

Good thumb rule is: if they don't bleed, they dont have much armor (well earthies maybe).

Just DPS (air) elementals down like crazy.. they have like 0 armor.. gogo big cat attacks! Mangle shred etc etc they are cake for a druid really. :) ;Many druid players have this "oh ****.. im at 30% health I need to heal now!"-thingie going.. go all out dude.. you won't die. :)

Ps.

I reckomend air elementals. They have least armor (and primal air sells good)
