9/10

Empowered Rejuvenation is more important to max than Nature's Focus; more healing.

(bear in mind, it was when I was in a guild [left yesterday], so it was a MT/Max DPS/Arena spec)

1/10 for the bear in mind pun =P

I can't really fault the build for the function. I never take shredding attacks only b/c I think 10% of my time is spent in cat, if that, and the 2 rage saved on my lacerate....meh I can deal with needing 2 more.

10/10 on the build.

Sorry to hear you had some problems with your guild, Veri. I hope everything is alright..

Given the range of applications your spec is designed to suit, I'd say 9.5/10. You are sacrificing some juicy talents in some areas to get essential ones for other roles. Particularly of note is the lack of Primal Tenacity; this is useful for tanking and pvp. Natural shapeshifter (heh, here we agree to disagree again) is only useful for pvp, so i guess you must really really like Natural Shapeshifter.. :p

And here's mine:

Cat dps with some limited emphasis on pvp.

Making it more of a "I hope I get lucky" type talent. Might as well spend the points on a talent that give a definite outcome, like Brutal Impact or Intensity.

If I get feared whilst tanking, when I come out of the fear **** has usually hit the fan - mobs all over the place, dps trying to finish off the low health ones while the healers are scattering to avoid enraged mobs.
So I can run around, taunt a mob, bash another, blow frenzied regen to stay alive and generate more aggro, and if things get really bad tranquility or AE taunt. These "fix" moves all have cooldowns; if I can resist some of the fears it eases the strain on cooldowns a lot, and more time can be spent spamming swipe for extra aggro.

It's true the talent doesn't always save me from a fear or stun, but it does work sometimes, and in doing so buys _substantial_ breathing space. I originally took it just for pvp, but it has proved its worth time and time again whilst tanking as well. I realise on paper this doesn't seem very convincing but it's just such a nice thing to see when your whole party gets feared, and the INVINCIBLE BARE is still standing there calmly ripping the mob to strips while the headless chickens crap themselves in a panic around you. =)

For pvp obviously a chance to resist fears and stuns is awesome. Resisting psychic scream whilst ganking a priest is just joyous. Bite bite bite! :D

Resisting psychic scream whilst ganking a priest is just joyous.Found this on my Hunter board (I'm amazed at how many Hunters also have Druid alts). It reads like for PvE, Primal Tenacity is no longer needed (assuming you have priest in your group)...

A couple changes that effect druid tanking are with fear ward and mob aggro on feared target. Druids can't do a stance-dance like warriors, so fear ward has been nice for fights like Nightbane. The changes:

* Fear Ward is now available to all priests at level 20. Duration reduced to 3 minutes, cooldown increased to 3 minutes.

* Creature AI has been changed to no longer prioritize attacking unfeared targets over feared targets.

I've tanked Nightbane on my druid before with a dwarf priest in the raid and the old Fear Ward cooldown was 30 seconds and the duration was 10 minutes. The priest could apply fear ward before every fear, so basically I was fear immune every time. Now, I might be able to get 3-4 fear wards on that fight, which probably won't be enough to make me fear immune. That's where the second change comes into play. Even if a druid tank is feared, the mob should not change aggro anymore. Nightbane shouldn't go around and insta-gib the locks and mages then, but the positioning will probably get jacked up a little and someone might get a flame breath or tail swipe or something like that.

Yeah, in PvE, the fear has been changed so now the NPC will no longer immediately jump after unfeared targets. This makes a BIG difference in the PvE game.

In PvP, it's completely different since the character fearing is generally another person.

All hunters have a secret desire to tame a druid.. :>

I came as close as I could, I tamed one of the cats from the badlands that has the Travel Form skin and named it after my Druid.

My guildies are probably the only people who get the joke 'cause they know both characters.

All hunters have a secret desire to tame a druid.. :>I think there are a couple of NPC mobs that have "tamed" Druids at their side. Which you end up freeing as part of the quest.

Hunters have an ability called Beast Lore which is kind of like detect magic, only for beasts.
They cast it on a beast and it shows them the beasts max health, its damage, attack speed, armor, and whether or not it can be tamed.
This ability works on druids when they are in feral forms, and the word on the street is "cannot be tamed". rawr.

Lol ... I have a hunter with a pet bear the same name as my druid. Also all you hunter alts. Go do a beast lore on Misha (Rexxars pet in Blades adge).

Back to the topic at hand.

Primal Tenacity has saved many lives in the past especially with Nightbane. I still think its worth keeping even with the new changes since relying on a priest can be tricky (clothies .. bah!).Also your specs really are hybrid feral and not so much tanking feral. when considdering a hybrid feral class I would completely agree on natural shapeshifter. Any other time it really sucks.

Here is a complete feral MT build I use. Note that this build is tanking and only with tanking in mind.
