I get the following when searching using the option at the top of the forums.

In order to accept POST request originating from this domain, the admin must add this domain to the whitelist.

That's been happening for quite some time. I think if you choose the advanced search it works fine.

Weird, hadn't seen that before (and search seems to work for me, but maybe it's because I'm an admin). That happens when you type anything into the search box up top?

That happens when you type anything into the search box up top?Yep. Like I said, it has been that way for some time (months???).

The Druid Elders don't want those without the gift to search our knowledge base ;D

I need to replicate that Error. What did you do to get it? I hear about it coming up randomly on different people but I've been unable to replicate it.

I can't fix it if I can't replicate it. :(

Can you tell me:
- What did you do?
- Where you logged in?
- What browser did you use?
- Does it always happen?

I just click the search pull down at the top of the page. I entered "hhhhh" and clicked "Go". You then get sent to a plain blank page (no background, or branding) that contains this message...

"In order to accept POST request originating from this domain, the admin must add this domain to the whitelist."

Bingo, it's a vB setting, not a web server setting. No wonder I couldn't find it.

The bug was due to a typo in the white list. They had "thedruidgrove.org" not "thedruidsgrove.org" -- note the 's' is missing. ;)

Thanks also from me for this fix as it was preventing me from logging in (I was receiving the same error message).

Anyone reading this who STILL has this problem, delete all your TDG cookies or do a forced page refresh by pressing CTRL-F5.

Just force refresh, clearing cookies isn't necessary. It's not a cookie related issue.

Still getting it over here.

I tried searching "Hit Rating" just by using the Search drop-down.

Got the same error I posted above.

Can you copy/paste what URL you're on?
(not posting /to/ but posting /from/)

The error has to do with a safety feature in vB preventing people from remote servers posting to the scripts. Make sure, also, that you're not running a proxy that changes your HTTP_REFERAL. That may have something to do with it, too.

Okay, lets try this fix. One of the things I dispise the most on how these sites were setup is there is literally 3 different ways a URL can be worded and STILL work. There's wow.thedruidsgrove.org, www.thedruidsgrove.org/wow and there's thedruidsgrove.org/wow

Honestly, the last two needs to die in a pit. I'm going to find some way to completely remove the ability to access the different forum sites without using the sub-domain format.

For future reference; use wow.thedruidsgrove.org to access the TDG WoW site.

But I just fixed the links in all the guides a couple weeks ago!

Ok, just did a search from this thread.

Url: http://wow.thedruidsgrove.org/forums/showthread.php?t=12208

It worked!

I'll keep an eye on it for future reference though.
