I have been saving my points for Merciless_Gladiator_Maul (http://www.wowwiki.com/Merciless_Gladiator%27s_Maul) however every week I keep pondering is it really worth the points ... I currently use Terestian's Stranglestaff (http://www.wowwiki.com/Terestian's_Stranglestaff) when doing arenas and BGs ... Or maybe just go for Gladiators_Maul (http://www.wowwiki.com/Gladiator%27s_Maul)

If you plan to actually do arena, don't buy the Merciless pieces; save for Vengeful. Gladiator's Maul works fine until then.

If you're buying it solely for PvE DPS, buy the Merciless Gladiator's Maul.
