Contact Morgaina or Sylinias to have a Resolute Cape (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=24258) made. Cost is roughly 1K Gold depending on mats and time spent gathering/questing/badging plus a small profit.

Resolute Cape (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=24258#comments) is nice, but it costs 1000g. Whereas Thoriumweave Cloak (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=28256#M0z) is also nice, and is a free drop with a 14% drop rate.

True, but if I know anything about which item is more purple than the other item... :p

Not all of us are swimming, Scrooge McDuck-like, in vast reservoirs of gold. Free is superior to something that costs 1000g imo.

have to admit i bought one of these to replace my old pre BC epic cloak, the Elementium Threaded Cloak.
another druid whose done a lot more 5 mans than me has been after the Thorium cloak for ages and is yet to see it drop so i decided to put the epic mount on hold and spend some gold on this cape.

well typically the Thoriumweave cloak dropped on a standard Mech run on Monday and as the only real needer in the group i grabbed it - a little more sta and ar and no one minded me taking it despite having the Resolute.
looking at it now i wish i had not bothered with the reso one - not worth the money. it either needs a bit of a buff or the Thoriumweave is too good for a blue ?
unless at some point i find i upgrade something that loses me +def i cannot see me using the Reso again..... /cry
oh well u live and learn.
Done the same thing with Cobrascale Gloves - bit of an impulse AH buy from neutral AH last week and regretting it to !

yeah yeah i know.
but a guildie had done over 50 runs and never seen it so it seemed reasonable to grab a Reso one.
whats even funnier is i got him into a mech run as a tank cos i did not have time on wed and it dropped for him to finally!

I only said it because you disagreed with me. Don't do that if you want to be handled gently. :hit:

i didn't disagree with you, i just had a different perspective. This is how to infuriate me. I just got back from the gym, having run two miles, and I might just go back and run some more because this ****ing infuriates me beyond belief. Do not do it.
