Just a few quesions from a new Druid about weapons. I think i read somewhere that your skill in a certain weapon type did not matter while in cat/bear. Also that the DPS/speed of the weapon had no effect either in a form. Is this true?

You are correct.

Only the stats of weapons count whilst in forms -+feral AP, strength, Agility, stamina, +toHit, +toCrit.

If you are a feral spec try to go for maces or staffs with agility, strength, Stamina and other melee oriented stats. Using Agility enchanters where possible.

I still have a high skill on two handed maces and staffs, it is nice to be able to smack something in Human form, even if it is a bit of a token effort.
