I had a quick question for the raiding boomkins out there. I repeced moonkin to go back into TK and SSC for our raids to have a bit of fun. I was wondering what do you guys use for a spell rotation? I insect swarm, then moonfire, then I was wrathing. Then I tried to starfire instead of wrath. I was wondering what one is better to use in raids, starfire or wrath.

i would take moonfire out of the rotation.
the manacosts are too high for the damage it does.

mana-efficient im doing insect swarm, starfire, starfire, starfire, insect swarm, starfire, starfire, starfire,....
if mana is not an issue i insect swarm and wrath spam, refresh insect swarm when it runs out.

if the tank doesnt need the debuff from insect swarm on the boss, then i let it out of my rotation (if i wanna do max dps).

The most common casting rotation is this: IS/MF/SFx3
The highest DPS casting rotation is this: IS/MF/Wx6
The highest DPM casting rotation is this: IS/SFx4

I rotate between all 3 depending on the fight and how close the boss/add is to dying (ie al'ar I wrath spam embers).
