Loving feral pvp right now, make an excellent break from raiding resto. Starting to get some pvp gear now that I want to gem/enchant specifically for pvp. Are the optimal gems and enchants the same for pvp as they are for pve for feral spec?

i try to load up on crit raiding, agility, and stam...

im going to remember to log out in kitty form one of these days so you can check out my melee stats.

my % chance to crit is right around 43-44 with some room for improvement still. resilience is right around 407 with room for improvement now that the guardian stuff is out. my hit rating and expertise could use a LOT of improvement, (especially against rogues and warriors)

nethercleft leg armor is a little better than the nethercobra leg armor, imo, for the stam

as for the meta, get the one that i have (sorry i can't remember the name of it) .it adds 3% damage from crits, requires 2 blues, 2 reds, and 2 yellows...

i have a TON of honor grinding to do to get the guardian stuff, AND to get my PvP healer set... /sigh

My armory should show me in pvp gear, a;most all my gems/chants are top of the line for pvp.

Your pvp gear should differ from your pve gear in the following ways:

- You need lots and lots of stamina for pvp
- You need lots of resilience for pvp
- You do not need hit rating or expertise for pvp
- Crit chance becomes a lot more important in pvp than attack power (although this becomes debateable in arena)
- Being fast in pvp is very, very useful. Consider investing in the arena 4 piece bonus.

You do need a certain amount of +hit in PvP to ensure you have the highest chance to hit the target, though it's nowhere near as much as PvE.

The hit cap in PvP is 5% for melee classes. Expertise is a very useful stat as well after your other stats are at a reasonable level.
