how does the AH work out what it will take from you as commission ?

a guildie has a ally char, low level with no cash.

he's seen some nice items on it i would like for less than the horde ah.

so he'd need me to buy something off his ally char at the neutral tanaris ah.

then he buys the item of ally ah and then sells it back to me on the neutral one !

so trying to work out how much commission it will cost ?

Neutral AH takes a 15% cut, faction AH takes 5%.
