Do me a favor, when you've registered, hop into your UserCP, scroll down to Group Membership and register with the alliance and horde member groups.

ATM the groups don't do anything but provide a means of tracking numbers, so I'd appreciate if you could register with them.

For those of you who've been on the grove already, but haven't joined those usergroups, I'd appreciate if you did as well.

Again, just as a means of tracking numbers for the WoW boards here.

The answer:

On a PVP Server:

- Your characters (on your account) have to be all on one side or the other.
- You can only group with players in your faction

On a regular or an RP server:

- Your characters can be on either or both sides.
- You can only group with players in your faction


So, you can never group with a member of the opposing faction, regardless of server.

At the top Select UserCP

when the menu appears select User Control Panel

then you should see the Group Memberships option on the left
