On a thread asking if the Patch content is locked, Tigole had this to say:

All the patch features are locked right now. The patcher itself is undergoing testing as I write this. The development team is already days beyond the patch you're about to get. We hope to have another patch out pretty soon after this one.

Looks like they've ramped up the patch process.
