does anyone know the realese date for WOW in the uk?????

Blizzard has always been a "when it's done!" kind of company, they do set release dates internally, though they don't announce them to the public until they're sure things so no backlash occurs if they slide...

How many release dates has HL2 had?

The current best guess release date is November 16th in the U.S. Almost every game retailer is showing that date, and some stores even have posters with the date printed on them (they wouldn't do that unless they were fairly sure). Time will tell I guess :)

I'm guessing they'll be getting pressure from big daddy VU to have it release then. And they probably even have the internal release date set to that, but its still Blizzard, so I guess things could slip.

Also, just idle speculation, but since EQ2 is shipping on November 8th, I suspect WoW open beta will start on or before that date.

Maybe something like:

Next Patch with pretty much everything thats still missing goes in on November 1st and Open Beta sign-ups start.
Open beta starts on November 8th.
Release on November 22nd/23rd.

Yea..my guess is big patch on Monday or Tuesday, since there is none this week. The annoucement of open beta sign ups, open beta starting on Friday, the 5th for the weekend. Then Sony crying that people are playing WoW and not EQ2

open beta is only supposed to be 2 weeks or so, just to test the load handling and stability of all the servers
