One of the Blizzard devs has posted in response to warrior issues on the official forums. It's a hugely long response and spans about 5 posts. While it's not really druid-related (though there is a bit in there about druid rage generation in bear form with dodges), I thought the post was a pretty interesting read.

I just hope they don't cave and respond to that hissy-fit they threw on Argent Dawn. If anything that stunt should force "warrior issues" to the back of the pile to be sure nobody gets the idea that kind of attack on a server is acceptable. :/

Yeah really, they've been told that the next content patch would give attention to warriors, as they were focused on warriors and warlocks, and then quite a few jerks go and pull that **** =-(

There was one paragraph in there pertaining to us, I was happy to see:
Now, regarding improving the warrior’s overall rage generation. We've found that there are indeed a few issues with rage generation as a result of bugs. Warriors (and druids in bear form) are intended to gain some rage on block, dodge, parry events, but apparently this isn't working correctly. This needs to be fixed asap in order for warriors to meet their total expected rage generation.
Also, the reply the poster got was something I would love to see for some of the well-written posts in the druid forums that get completely ignored. In all the rubbish you can find some real gems that warrant a response like this one the warriors got.

I too was impressed with the well thought out response. I hope they can treat all classes equally in that respect. I think it is a shame when developers show class favoritism because of how discouraging it can be for other loyal customers. I know my warrior friends will be thankful for improvements that they make, and really I haven't heard a complaint from the warriors I group with so far (not saying they don't exist though). I think a lot of it is a misunderstanding between the role of a palladin and the role of a warrior.

I think this arose from multiple layers of things. There are a set of people playing their old game, be it EQ, DAOC or whatever. The warriors here aren't the same.

There is a set of people who have an idea of how they want a warrior to be and since WOW warriors don't match their template, something is wrong.

Another thing I noticed is, at least many of the EQ warriors, were or became egotistical. If they aren't the best at everything and/or the center of attention there is something wrong.

I've long wondered about the rage thing but the rest seemed to be just about on par with everyone else. Only had 2 warriors complain from my guild. One was treating WOW like EQ and the other just drinks sometimes.

The biggest problem with warrior, besides the bugs, is the fact that they're just not very useful in PvP, and close to useless if they are more than lightly speced for tanking in PvE. Absorbing damage just doesn't do you a whole lot when you can't kill anyone.

And yeah, warriors not fitting peoples image is a problem, that's sort of Blizzards fault. Their descriptions and some of the talents and stuff make it sound like you can make a more balanced tank/damage dealer in one, like a war/nin or nin/war in FFXI. But in reality, it just doesn't work that well.
