Smoking Heart of the Mountain
Binds when picked up
Unique
Trinket
150 Armor
+7 Fire Resistance
+7 Nature Resistance
+7 Frost Resistance
+7 Shadow Resistance
Requires Level 50

If I can get a recipe for this I think I'm going to drop my skinning, skillup my enchanting, make one for myself, then go back to skinning.

The 150AC is nice because in bear form that translates into like 700AC, and the resistances are nothing to sneeze at. Esp considering most trinkets are junk besides whatever you took from drakkisath (probably mark of tyranny or eye of the beast).

I have it on fairly good authority that I can pick the recipe up for 20-25g on the AH, and that it turns up there about once or twice a week.

It requires 265 enchanting, which I understand is not that difficult to acheive. The difficult enchanting is getting from 275-300.

So I figure I'll get the recipe when I can. Then I'll need to get the reagants: Requires Blood of the Mountain, Essence of Fire, Small Brilliant Shard (3).

I understand the blood is the hardest part to get. http://www.thottbot.com/index.cgi?i=18634. So I imagine I'll be skimming the AH for a long while waiting for one to pop up, but when it does I'm guessing between 50 and 100g.

Once I've got my recipe and my blood, I'll drop skinning and skillup my enchants to 265. Basically I'll buy all the low end junk on the AH, and probably some leathers and craft certain things as well. I've heard farming VC can also provide a good number of blues for upping the low end enchants. I figure this will cost at most around 100g.

Total net cost for the trinket: 125-225G + the time to skillup enchants and then reskillup skinning.

I guess it'll be a long term project, since I doubt the recipe and the blood of the mountain are going to fall into my lap.

But I don't know of any other really good trinkets for druid besides the quest item mark of tyrrany, and after you get your set and a wep you really have nothing to buy besides epic mount. So I'll go for it.. seem like a plan? :P

Then of course there ist he need for black anvil or whatever you construct it on... like dark forge or somthing, apparently that's in molten core >< but not that hard to get to in MC at least.

yeah, this was my plan too. Need to farm up the recipe and level the rogue up for mining.

Hmm. This looks interesting. I'm doing alch/herb right now, not real sure how I like it. Thinking of maybe switching over to mining or skinning and enchanting. This would be a nice kicker to do that.

Make u a lowbie alt with chanting. Start shipping all your droppable stuff. The newbie can disenchant any level of stuff.

This will allow u to go ahead and have a nice assortment of chanting materials that u can just mail back to your primary when u are ready for them.

best start saving to. Leveling enchanting can be a pain at certain points.

I got enchanting up to 120 and it drove me absolutely nuts. There would have to be a better trinket than this for me to go back! Besides I've finished my Tailoring and Engineering to 300 now so it would be a big cost to drop them now. BTW Engineering rules!

Love,

Yeah, but I can drop skinning and then re-level it pretty easily.

As for sending stuff to a lowb, I can just as easily AH it when I get it, and then later use the gold to buy dusts or disenchantables. Doesn't require mass-mailing.

Aye that is true. I just have a mule that i keep all my spare stuff on anyway. Sort of cheap bank space :)

Mailing no big deal. Hell u can use the mailing system as extra bank space even.
