I'm curious of what people's experiences are when you need to heal someone who's hp is dropping fast, or is down to like 25% or less.

Do you rejuvenate first and then regrowth?

Or do you regrowth and then rejuv?

I usually rejuv first just because it seems faster... but after casting rejuv you have like a 1.5s delay for your healing spells to become available again, thus increasing the wait before you can regrowth.

If the person is in trouble I imagine that the 240hp every 3s is not going to be enough, and they'll probably die while you're waiting for the 1.5s delay plus the 1.5s casting time on a regrowth. So it would seem like we should focus on getting the regrowth off first when someone is dying, even tho rejuv will get there faster?

(note, in reallllly dire situations i do NS+HT obviously, but if NS is down or for most situations I need to figure out whether to rejuv first or not prior to regrowthing).

And an unrelated question, where do you place your nature's swiftness and/or do you have it hotkeyed? I use cosmos and keep tranquility, 2 ranks of HT, and 2 ranks of regrowth on the right sidebar, and I keep my rejuv in slot 6 on the main bar.

I used to have HT on my right bar but it was sooooo long to mouse over there and click when crisis hits. I've changed it so that its on my second natural list, along with my highest HT.

This means when crisis hits and I need that t10 Healing touch I hit shift-2, 2, 3. shift-2 loads my second skillbar, I have nature's swiftness in slot 2, and then rank 10 healing touch in slot 3.

Seems tow ork alright as long as I remember to flip back to bar 1 before trying to do anything else. But is there a better/easier way to get your NS off fast?

I tend to regrowth first (counting on a crit) and then rejuvenate after.

I have my primary hotkeys setup as:

2= Healing Touch Rank 10
3= Rejuvenate
4= Regrowth
5= Nature's Swiftness
6= Healing Touch Rank 6
7= Mana Potion
8= Healing Touch Rank 9
9= Health Potion
0= Tranquility

All my nukes, cures, and other abilities are on the extended button bar and I use the mouse to activate them.

You should be able to create a NS + HT10 macro in one button if needed.

That's a funky key setup...

Ive got:

2 - rank 1 moonfire (totem-nuking)
3 - highest rank moonfire
4 - entangling roots
5 - nature's grasp
6 - rejuvenation
7 - starfire
8 - (forget what this is atm, might even be empty)
9 - faerie fire
0 -soothe animal (why? I dunno)

On the right lower bar I've got innervate right there on the corner, along with rank 7 healing touch and then all of my potions and bandages (I have tonnes... demonic runes, dragon's breath, diff types of mana pots, shadow-prot pot, swiftness pot, healing pots etc). Then the right-side-of-the-screen bar I've got my 2 highest regrowths, 2 highest HT's, tranquility and I believe nature's swiftness.

How you get by without moonfire on your normal bar is a mystery to me o0

But I think its smarter to regrowth before rejuving, ill have to start doing that. My instinct is always to use the insta-cast spell first in crisis, but it prolly does more harm than good by delaying my regrowth that would actually help ><

I use a mod called pop-party that when you click on a heal or buff it will pop up a list of your party members. You just click on the name and it casts it on them while you keep an enemy targeted. So I mouse to heal and use my numbered shortcuts for all my nukes.

Mouse scares me =-(

And the global cooldown is 1 second, not 1.5 seconds by the way. Not a big difference really, just saying!
