Isn't Thorns a nature effect? I was under the impression that it would boost Thorns.. but when I finally got the staff and tried it.. my Thorns still do the same damage. :( Can this really be true?

Yup, it has no effect on Thorns.

Actually I think it does effect thorns it's just that the effect is spread out over the full 10 minutes of the spell so you can't see the results. I know that's nitpicky but if you were to stack +nature effects high enough (not sure if it would even be possible at this time) you would see the effect on thorns. +nature is for spells and effects thorns is an effect.

Hehe, maybe so. All I know is I have this weapon and when I have thorns up, I get exactly the same damage reported from it that it says on my spell description :)

lol 10 damage extra divided on 10 mins. Thats a whole damage extra per minute. God be praized! :D
