A blue book drops off of Lethtendris in the unkeyed instance of Dire Maul. I've attached an image.

I'll try and get it over to a druid on test in the near future to see what it leads to.

i read over on the official druid forums that the reward for this is a cheesy trinket that improves healing by a small amount (+heal) and adds a fire resist.. dunno if that's confirmed, but if it is.. that's a REALLY poor reward compared to what other classes get

I wouldn't really call it cheesy; it's +40 to heals and +10 fire resist. For a trinket, that's pretty nice.

I've seen the book in the AH a lot lately, people trying to get anywhere from 125 to 200 gold as opening bid...haha, good luck. Only way they will get that is from a dumb druid who doesn't know what the reward is.

Since you could get a Mindtap Talisman and get more use out of it as a Druid/Priest/Shaman in MC. Or anywhere else. And as a bonus, unless you're buying your book, they're a lot easier to get most likely.

I actually did place a bid on the book, hoping I win :) But the +10 fire resist is very nice in my estimation, so is the +40 heals. Why wouldn't I want to use Mindtap Talisman as well? At level 60, making money isn't hard, I feel the trinket is worth it.

Hrm, another +10 fire resist is a nice thought, that would put me at about 116 in my fire-proof suit :) and the +40 to healing certainly wouldn't hurt.

I'd rather quest it than buy it though.

No, the previous stats were correct. +40 to heal and +10 fr. That one you just linked is the priest trinket, I believe.

If you click on the link in the thread, it shows a another druid that posted the same stats for the trinket.
