We would like to remind everyone that we are currently performing the weekly scheduled maintenance, and all realms have already been brought down for this. The maintenance started at 5:00 AM Pacific Time (one hour earlier than our usual time) to accomodate the extra time needed for implementation of the new content patch. The duration of the maintenance will also be extended to an estimated 6 total hours, and therefore should be completed at 11:00 AM Pacific Time.

Man! I played too late last night and am crabby today, so sorry...

I want your life if you have reason to believe that there are lots of individuals (let alone corporations ) in RL that treat you with more consideration than Blizzard treats WOW players.

edit: ok im sorry if you are one of those who is waiting for a solution to serious technical problems that the patch will hopefully address. My characters run slowly and looking at the tech forum I see that there are folks with even worse problems with slow mo than I have.

At 43 I could train Ferocious Bite 1, and the cat finisher to the 2nd level of it. Didnt have time to play around with them before work but looking forward to testing them tonight.

Haha good job blizzard. Patch started at about 9pm last night (western australia time), about 12am my internet went down for "server upgrades". Waited till 2am, internet still wasnt working, figured id take a nap to pass the time. Woke up at 6am, internet working :D. Load up WoW... Authenticating... still Authenticating... oh, now its downloading the new patch, yay!. Damn, the blizzard downloader, its not working properly. Well... lets go check the WoW forums, see if they have a FTP download up yet.

Ok, blizzard has no FTP patch... but other sites do, lets try one of them. Oh, fileplanets server load is maxed... ok, lets try a different one. Nice, found a site that isnt maxed, download patch... aww its downloading at 15kb/sec... well atleast ill get it. Ok its an hour later now, the patch has finished downloading, lets install. It installed perfect, nice. Load up WoW... Authenticating... still Authenticating... "Unable To Connect" -sigh-.

Its now 9:03am, about 12 hours since this so called patch was started, still unable to log-in, gotta love blizzards customer service, it really is 2nd to non.

So I'm bummed too. My slo mo character is probably a direct outcome of the crappy server. Gonna leave roughcoat to languish on boulderfist I guess and start aaallll over beating on wee critters and trying to establish new friendships on another server.

Does EQ help you more? Maybe I should uninstall WOW and load up EQ2 or ....

Just give me an alternative. This is the best I've ever been treated by a game and its one hell of a lot better than I'm treated by my doctor or the builder of my home ( the rotten !##@$@$).

New Tauren female dance as well, I'm not much up on country line dances so I'm not sure which one it's supposed to be but anything is better than clog dancing.

I got home from work last night and downloaded the patch from GameStop in about 3 minutes, installed it, did some clean-up on my AddOn files and was ready to go. Unfortunately my server was down the whole night, and by the time it finally showed up in the server list, I never could get past the "connecting" step :(
