Ive come to realize in my gaming what i really want to play is a tauren druid. Ive got a level 60 NE druid that id like to swap for it, not sure about how this would happen we would have to talk about it. I want to do this on the gilneas servor. I dont just have a druid i have a couple other level 60 chars as well. I might just bite the bullet and level another char but i rem the pain of my first druid i truly love the class but the grind is slow and boring. Respond here or pm if these boards allow such things.

I'd suggest just finding a friend or two to make the grind less boring, and leveling up another character. World of Warcraft has one of the fastest level curves of any MMOG... I think it took me about a month to get my second character to 60.

Lots of 5 man WC runs when you get to lvl 17+ is what I do.

Not at release, they couldn't, and I mean leveling without a bot to PL yourself. :P

Bots are just account-rippers...

Bot had a different definition in EQ. :) Generally, botting was when you played your main character, then you had a 2nd character along, either on the same PC with EQW or on a 2nd PC, which would buff/heal/whatever your main character.

Soloing was pretty hard in EQ, except for certain classes, so it wasn't too uncommon for a warrior, monk, or whatever to have a botted character along to help out. Or, you might use a bot to PL yourself up, by giving yourself huge HP buffs, regen, damage shields, heals...

Yeah, it seemed that after a few years almost every toon had a pocket cleric to buff/heal them, or a high level druid friend keeping Thorns/Regen up. You would be surprised how fast you can level if you can take creatures 20 levels higher than you with no fear of dieing.

Actually if i made another druid he would be my fourth 60, got priest, druid and hunter all 60. Usually it takes about 2 months of my life to get to 60 on a char.

My druid was my second character in WoW to level 60. IIRC, the time was ~12 days /played.

If you haven't played Horde before at levels 1-40, you're going to be at a disadvantage. Knowing where to quest for what when, and how to get some of the more obscure quest lines, is what really saves you time. Still, 1-30 will go by pretty fast.

I will never ever ever ever level another Druid to 60, I would rather carve my own arms off with a teaspoon.

...and then cast regrowth so they grow back? =)
