I could really use a guide to get aquatic half of the pendant. I SUCK at following guides, and me and my level 45 friend's hunter has died trying to swim down to find it.

I ALREADY FOUND THE BLACK BOX IN THE BARRENS. but theres one problem.....theres a lvl19 elite guarding it. hes made me retreat alot of times and kiled me once. did any one have this problem? help me plz =) plzplzplzplzplz oh by the way its called uuummmm ... sludge monster or something like that...i havent tried just going up to it though it might be friendly or something but my computers getting fixed. so it would be very nice if u guys would help me. by the way im on Bloodhoof server and called battlehorn =) if anyone else is on that i wanted to let u know... im a very friendly person and will help u on a quest in any way i can, but plz help me...=)

The Sludge King is a rare elite that spawns in the lake in the barrens. he's not always there so you might get lucky next time you go and miss him. But he also evade bugs pretty easily he'll go into evade mode when near the box on the east side of it so try to approach the box from behind the wall on the west side. You can reach the box and not be hit by him if he's evading.

Never heard of that...only elite mob I'd seen in the Sludge Fen is the Engineer guy up at the top of the platform. What level are you? Druids can easily take out similar-level elites solo.

No you are doing it wrong.

All you do is go to the side of the fen where the box is, jump into the water, swim underneath the wall and grab the box.

thanx guys.... i minute after i read this stuff i went back and the monster wasnt there. i finished the q and have the form now. he looks like a angry seal bat thing :P. im a lvl 18=)
