The Safehouse (http://www.thesafehouse.org/forums/index.php) is probably a good place to start. They have a WoW section.

Add this cache to the end of the adress to get to any site. ie:

http://www.thottbot.com/?i=40565

becomes:

http://www.thottbot.com.nyud.net:8090/?i=40565

isn't working at your school? Sometimes it takes a few seconds more.

Thats sad if they blocked nyud.net:8090

galdoris, make sure you're putting http:// before the url, many browsers get confused the second you put a different port on the end.

Bump! For an old forgotten post.

I just came across this thread and noticed your work around. I tried using it against Websense and didn't work. Does this option still exist? Is there a new work around? I really despise Websense.

Thanks.

It's because you've specified a nonstandard port (8090) but haven't told it what protocol (http://).

Try:
http://www.worldofwarcraft.com.nyud.net:8090
