It's just a Key registration page where you can enter a key to get a free Murloc pet ingame.

The key is only gained through the Blizzcon good bag handed out at the event.

Of course, you can get your own pet for $175+ on eBay (http://cgi.ebay.com/World-of-warcraft-murloc-pet-key_W0QQitemZ8229661776QQcategoryZ4596QQssPageName ZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem) if you're not attending the convention!

How is that lame? I think it is a good idea. Would have done it myself if I would have gone. Makes up for the insane prices on the BlizzCon tickets.

Yeah i'd say it was sheer brilliance by starfire to make some quick cash on the side...blizz makes 15 bucks a month every month from all of us, you gotta pay for wow somehow .

What is really lame is the people that pay $174 for a WoW pet. WTF! Who has that kind of money do dump on an ingame pet?! I mean I can possibly understand spending RL money on a kick-@ss orange super rare dominating weapon, but $174 for a PET???!

Thats what I was refering to. I should have been more specific. For someone to spend 174 bucks on a pet that doesnt do shiot but follow you and make noise. Come on...

why dont you send me that guys ebay handle.. I got some nice stuff sitting in my garage that im trying to get rid of.

y sister made 20 bucks and she plays WoW anyway.
I still have my sisters murky, she went to wow.com and thought they were the ugliest things ever. She refused to have it follow her around all day. Besides, I pre-ordered so I let her play with the toon that has my mini diablo.

On the note of stupidity? I put some trinkets in a plastic easter egg, painted it, and put it up on ebay and it sold for 6dollars.
