WOW!!! I just increased the RAM on my computer to 2gigs and WOW!!! what a difference. Before I was running on only 512kb of RAM lol!!!! Now my computer stats are:

otherboard: AsusP4P800VM
Processor: Pentium IV 2.4Ghz @ 800mhz hyperthreading
Video: Radeon Pro 9600
Sound: Soundblaster Live
HD: 80gig Western Digital SATA
Storage: 120gig WD
RAM: 2gigs Corsair XMS Platinum 3200 DDR 400

GO ME!

I can officially run through IF with my Video options nearly maxed and get NO LAG!!!! YES!

RAM does help a ton, and the 1.8 texture loading fix seems to have really helped too.
