Blizzard released a small patch today, which fixed a couple issues and added the new Blizzard Launcher.

New Blizzard Launcher

A new launch utility has been created to enhance your entry into World of Warcraft! The Blizzard Launcher will provide up-to-date news and important event- and support-related updates. In some regions, the Blizzard Launcher also scans for Trojan viruses and third party cheat programs and notifies you if it has located any on your machine. Well, I think it's something they've always wanted to get added to assist in displaying news and updates to the community (like what SOE does with the EQ and EQII launcher as well as CoH).

Also, they needed to do some updates to track down the overly abundant Sony BMG rootkit to let the players know if they're effected or not (and to locate any cheet programs a person might be using under the rootkit's guise).
