Nublet question here. My guild just set up a new webpage, and I want to send them a screenshot of my toon.

How do I screenshot and where does it save to? 'Printscreen' ? I suppose I could find this information in the instruction manual, but who reads those??

Print Screen to take shot it saves to your screenshot folder in your wow folder by default C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\Screenshots

WoW screenshots save as TGA files so you will need a program that can view/change TGA files in order to see them properly or to crop em.

Thanks N. Whats a TGA file? never heard of it. Any recommendations on good conversion programs that anyone uses?

Whats a TGA file?

thats the problem with wow - they decided to make screenshots in this /&%¤ format. windows media player can handle them, but shows them upside down. a little while ago, i found a to me obscure program that could display them, but i lost it with pc crash, so...

infranview will display them

You should be able to convert them into a more friendly format in this program too.

Ifranview works for most every format you'll ever run across. It's a small, clean program I've been using for years. I'll second his recommendation.
