Re: Very Interesting Video
You fail to understand what a line is therfore you cannot understand a linear model. Linear models like you so pointed out have negative and positive inclines...and if you look at the stock exchange, you would see an example of a linear model that life models (according to the rebuttal). It goes up ...

Re: Republicans tax plan
So it wasn't Obama and the Democrat-controlled Senate that recently extended Bush's tax cuts for two more years? Mabye we watched a different debate? The Democrats as a PARTY were set to eliminate them. Republicans still have a vote, and Democrats didn't have enouph votes to elininate Bush Tax Brea...

Re: Very Interesting Video
Life is LINEAR when stretched out over 1000's of years.... I even stated Life (Births) is an exponential formula and will (most likely) always will be. Deaths are also exponential when desease/famine happen because these things have a domino effect in the region(s) they occur in. Add into the equati...

Re: Very Interesting Video
One of the things he fails to mention (going from memory on the rebuttal of his claims) is that population shifts (i.e. deaths) can also occur at exponential numbers. The problem with population shifts is that we haven't seen one sense Europeons "discovered" America, because desease has b...

I also remember some of what he said was debunked by science Arithmetic has been debunked by science in the past decade? Explain. Not the arithmatic, but the fomula he uses to state his case. The formula is actually a quite bit more complicated, but the simplified version he uses makes the point an...

Re: An Extinction I Can Welcome
I doubt religion will become extinct. Quite the contrary, as they stated in there article about language, we will all have a singular religion. A hybrid of the worlds religions of today would be my guess. I.e. the best of each.

Re: Christians: "Thou Shalt Suffer"
I stated that we don't euthanize micro brains yet. Euthanize? I said that I don't want to spend a fortune to artificially sustain someone else's vegetable. If they want to do it, they can pay for it (and I don't mean via insurance, which is just another way of taking my money). Or they can take him...
