Re: Bigger Hypocrites than Christians/"Republicans"?

Well 46-51% of the US population is considered "poor" depending on the graph/statistics you look at. That is the LARGEST consumer group, And where do they get the money to pay for the things they consume? Well, it has been explained to you. A High School student would understand wh...

Re: Bigger Hypocrites than Christians/"Republicans"?

Objective? Your leaving out half the facts and telling us you provided all the facts. I may be leaving out many facts (because they aren't relevant to the argument), but the ones I'm presenting are undeniably true. Rich people pay the overwhelming majority of the taxes. Poor people pay next to noth...

Re: Bigger Hypocrites than Christians/"Republicans"?

When you're scrapping by trying to buy food, medicine, etc, I don't know any poor people scraping by to get food or medicine. The government hands out those things, as well as many others, for free to poor people, thanks to money the government gets from the rich people. Even the penniless psychoti...

Re: The Republican philosophy in action

What is at issue is the assumption that making rich people even richer automatically translates into them hiring -more- employees. You don't make them richer. That's stupid. If you buy their products, you increase their revenue (whether they make a profit/richer or not is another topic). If you are...

Re: Bigger Hypocrites than Christians/"Republicans"?

I hope they succeed. What, in bringing down all the rich people? Then who will give them a job, and pay their welfare when they don't work? Who will pay for their military protection, their schools, their roads, their health care, their public services? Why don't "the other 99%" go ahead ...

Re: Internment VS Concentration Camps

The Pacific War was almost over when we used nuclear warheads. There was only 2 (maybe 3) islands between the US Fleet and Japan and Japan's Defensive Locations were deteriorating quickly due to the American strategy of strangulation. The Americans may have had the upper hand towards the end, but t...

Re: Internment VS Concentration Camps

Just imagine what the American camps might have looked like a decade into World War II, as American losses mounted. Considering Japanese Americans started fighting in Germany in 1942/43 I couldn't say. There would be less of them because they were fighting/dead in Germany? The Japanese Americans we...

Re: The Republican philosophy in action

Because their net worth is tied to one specific private company, Koch Industries, not the average of all publicly traded companies. But they still got richer because the value of their stock increased, just like those other billionaires, not because of tax cuts or regulations. I guess I missed some...

Re: Internment VS Concentration Camps

German concentration camps were created for the sole purpose of killing anyone not of the "master race." They were borne out of the necessity of finding a more streamlined method of killing everyone "not of the master race." Wrong. They were originally "internment" cam...
